DDIU Training on progress

This training (Data Demand and Information Use) is based on how to use the data to get the information about the HIV/AIDS services that is provide in our facilities. The Goal of this Training is to facilitate Facilities' staff to use the information to guide stakeholders in making a decision in improving quality, coverage of HIV/AIDS services in our facility as well as client retention.

The training is conducted in Mwanza at Monarch Hotel; Participants from Mwanza and Lorya will attend the meeting from 20th to 22nd May 2013

At the end of the session, participants will be able to:
  • Have a basic understanding of DDIU
  • Define key concepts and the purposes of data and information utilization.
  • List common barriers to information utilization, and propose methods to overcome the barriers
  • Understand common indicators used to interpret data and reports of patients in CTC.
  • Understand the meaning of the common statistical terms used as indicators in the reports.
  • Understand how information can help in making the decisions.
