Data management Training


CSSC – ART project is conducting training on Data management to data clerks from new computerized LPTFs and new data clerks from old facilities. This is the part of capacity building to these staff so that they can perform their day to day activities effectively. This training will cover the discussion on how data can be managed on improving the quality of data they are collecting and using which will led to quality of services at facility level. Data collection tools such as CTC2 cards, exposed infants cards, TB screening tools, CTC2 database, cohort reports, cross sectional report, ART registers, appointment register and miss appointment register will be discussed in detailed. These tools are the ones used for monitoring of the patients and the facility in general.

This will be an avenue to discuss in details how the filling system should be for easier tracking of the clients’ files, confidentiality in terms of how the storage of clients files should be, how to manage the database and data recording and reporting tools for confidentiality as well as monitoring the clients.

Participants from CSSC supported facilities will be trained, preferably data clerk. This training will have participant from RMO and DMO offices in order to strengthen collaboration with the government as well as to build capacity to them so as to make it easier for them on managing these data clerks but also be on the same page with the data clerks in terms of the new knowledge updates and sometimes it will be easier for them to identify gaps during their supervision and work on them.



This training is organized and conducted in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Social welfare through National Aids Control Programme (NACP) by using the National curriculum and facilitators will be identified by the ministry. NACP also took the role of inviting the partners through their DMO offices for the government facilities but also through medical in charge for the non government facilities.

LOCAL PARTNER'S FINANCE AND COMPLIANCE TRAINING


CSSC ART Program has conducted the FINANCE AND COMPLIANCE TRAINING at Monarch Hotel Mwanza from 9th- 11th June 2014. Participants from Mwanza Region, Geita Region, and Rorya attended the Training. The training aimed at exposing local partners to USG fund Management, speed up expenditures of the funds supported and sharing experience on how EPICOR accounting package works.
